Bite Cashmere Lip Creme in Sancerre: I review this here and made no secret of my love for this product. It is incredibly pigmented, has a beautiful finish, and feels very comfortable on the lips. The color is versatile enough that although I picked this up during the summer, I'll be wearing it for the rest of year, as well.
Daniel Wellington Classic St Andrews Lady Watch: I've had my eye on this watch since back in 2012. The initial trigger of my desire to get my hands on it was the name of the model: the 'Classic St Andrews Lady'. I went to the University of St Andrews for my undergraduate degree, so this instantly sucked me in! But it was the watch's aesthetic that kept me interested: a super thin, large face and a rich leather band giving it both a casual and chic look at the same time. If you keep your eyes peeled, Daniel Wellington does 15% off sales quite often and all of their watches look divine (and it's a nice change of pace from the clunky Michael Kors-style watches that are so popular).
Almay Liquid Lip Balm in Apple A Day: I picked this up on a whim, along with another color (Rosy Lipped) and it very pleasantly surprised me. The texture is not in the slightest bit sticky, but it has decent staying power. Apple A Day is also an incredibly wearable red--it's slightly warm and sheer. An effortless pop of color--one never wants to look like they're trying to hard, darling! I kid, I kid....but on a day to day basis, I don't want to look too over the top, so this is the perfect item to throw in my handbag!
Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Pink Escape: I also reviewed this product here during the month of August, but my love for it (if possible) has only grown since then. It really is the most dewy, natural, and incredibly long lasting product I've ever encountered. At a recent dinner party with some friends, I received four separate compliments on how glowy and pretty my skin looked, and I know it was down to this. I've already ordered another shade (Honeymoon Honey), so keep your eyes peeled for some swatches and reviews of that in the coming weeks.
REN ClearCalm3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser: I have a deep love for the REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask but have recently been trying out some other REN products. This cleanser is a definite winner. It is clay based, meaning that my skin feels like I've truly gotten a deep cleanse everytime I use it, but it doesn't strip my skin and isn't the least bit drying. I use it pretty much every night as part of my beauty regime and it has really helped my clog/blemish prone skin.
Ojon Restorative Hair Mask: I've had this mask for a couple of years (even though it's a small pot, it lasts ages), but I had forgotten about it and hadn't used it in at least six months. I rediscovered it in August will reorganizing my bathroom and I also rediscovered why I love it so much. After taking a shower, I slather it all over the ends of my hair (avoiding just the scalp, really) and I let it sit for a few hours, before hopping back in the shower to rinse it off. It smells of chocolate and tobacco, which may not be for everyone but I love. I don't think it is the most intensive hair mask out there, but it does add a bit of moisture and shine back into my locks.
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial: A cosmic merging of several bloggers led to my purchase of this product. I think I first heard of it through Lily Pebbles at What I Heart Today, then I read about it on Caroline Hiron's blog Beauty Mouth, and finally, Elle Fowler offered a SpaceNK code through her blog, Dreaming in Blush. All of these events happened within a week or so of one another, which I took as a sign I had to order it (btw, SpaceNK has brilliant customer service). I never used to think that serums had a place in my skincare regime (I guess I assumed they weren't potent enough and I was confused about how to use them). Now, I cannot ever imagine not having the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial. It gives the most refreshed, luminous skin after just one night of use. I normally alternate it with my Skinceuticals Retinol 0.5 (so, Skinceuticals one night, the Sarah Chapman the next). I do layer it with other products, but I'll save that for another post. In the meantime, just know that this is a god send!
